In the midst of the pandemic, chef and siblings, Cathy and Samuel started a business that hopes to provide comfort through good food for an affordable price.

The recipe for their crust and sauce is a refined version of the one their father, who influenced them into cooking use to make. They would make the pizza by hand in their own home in Venice St. Las Pinas.

Project Background

Project Background

Since the brand is newly established, the client asked me to design a logo that is easily recognizable. They were very clear that they wanted the brand to come across as approachable and not fancy. Three of the things that I want to accomplish in this project are:

(1) highlight that the brand offers hand rolled goodness fresh from the neighborhood,

(2) create a distinct brand identity and guidelines for better implementation, and

(3) give a nod to their "father-to-children" tale

An icon associated with Venice, Italy-- the image of the gondolier helps brand to be easily recognized and name to be easily recognized and name to be easily retained. The brand mascot represents the idea of the product being a taste of Venice from your own neighborhood. It is also used to portray the brand as fun and approachable.


Furthermore, In the past the gondoliers’ skills were passed from generation to generation which reflects the story of how their father passed down his love for cooking.
